“We have an obligation to follow the code and ordinances we have,” Village President Jim Patterson said, explaining the board’s rationale. “We don’t own it. Everything is in conformity (to the zoning code and ordinances). It is 100 percent compliant. The standards are set and these (plans) all fit within our standards.”
